The perfect go-to afternoon tea in London!

BBakery Doyouspeaklondon Lifestyle London Blog

There are plenty of places to go and drink good teas and eat good cakes in London, for sure. But not so many tearooms are so cosy as the one I am about to present, combining comfy chairs, a colourful atmosphere (especially pink, green and yellow) with scrumptious meals.
Today, DOYOUSPEAKLONDON invits you to discover Brigit’s Bakery London, THE place I highly recommend to demanding afternoon tea lovers.

A colourful venue

When the weather is either changing or bad, just like now, just head to Brigit’s Bakery to quickly cheer up! Colours are bright, flowers are welcoming you from the window and the drawings on the walls create a youthful and fresh atmosphere. Pink and green, as I said, appear as a remedy to dull days…!

BB delicious afternoon teas

As we had already enjoyed a good meal just before (some delicious gyozas…), we were just looking for a good dessert when we entered the place (the whole afternoon tea will be our good reason to come back, though). We opted for a “tea and 3 macarons” option. I can tell the “4 red fruit tea” was delightful and the “caravan china” was quite satisfying! What to say about the tempting macarons of the below picture…? Either Chocolate, Pistachio or Lemon, trust me, they are all a-ma-zing! I shall admit a preference for the lemon one, but that’s a matter of taste…

Also you can enjoy an afternoon tea on a vintage London bus (many themed bus tours are available, from the classic birthday party to an exciting “Slingsby Gin Afternoon Tea”! details on the calendar online) as well as book a Thames Boat Party!

Angeline Melin, illustrator

I particularly enjoyed the drawings of this french illustrator, which I discovered at BB Bakery, and would like to share with you her experience presented on her blog.
I like her style: a single line with a fresh design.
