What do coffee and caps have in common? Nothing… or so you think! At BlackBörk, they’re both bold, creative, and guaranteed to make every visit unforgettable!

On my recent trip, I was instantly charmed by the playful caps decorating the walls and hanging from the light bulbs. A quirky, creative touch that makes this café truly one-of-a-kind in London. It’s a concept that will delight anyone with a love for design, style, and a little bit of fun!

Today, join me as we dive into the world of BlackBörk Café, where brunch, bold flavours, and playful caps come together in a way that’s entirely unique to Fitzrovia!

BlackBörk Café: a unique concept

Tucked away in the heart of Fitzrovia, BlackBörk Coffee & caps is anything but your usual café. It’s a place where great coffee meets creativity and style in the most fun way! The idea is simple but genius: serve amazing specialty coffee and food while letting you express yourself with caps 🙂

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the thought put into every little detail: cosy corners, comfy and colourful cushions, clean lines, and a lively, welcoming vibe. 

The staff are super friendly and passionate, and this unusual spot just makes you want to linger, whether you’re sipping, snacking, working, networking, or just soaking up the creative vibes!

BlackBörk: where brunch gets a creative twist!

My friend and I arrived around 12, just before the café started filling up. We took a little time to browse the menu and pick out a few dishes and drinks to try. The All Day Breakfast menu is a playground of flavours, and we couldn’t wait to explore it!

We were pleasantly surprised by the mix of flavours the staff recommended. Everything was super fresh, and you could really tell there’s a genuine effort to put a creative twist on each dish. This kind of inventiveness was exactly what we were hoping to find!

So, we kicked things off with the Okonomiyaki Waffle, a fabulous Japanese twist on a waffle that was absolutely stunning: perfectly savoury, umami-rich, and beautifully plated.

We also indulged in the Çılbır Turkish Eggs, silky, toasted, and spiced, with roasted granola adding an unexpected and delightful crunch.

Every bite and sip felt thoughtfully crafted, combining international flavours in bold, creative ways that make this café truly stand out.

To wash it all down, we tried the Börk Mix Juice, a fresh and fiery blend of orange, ginger, carrot, and lemon, the perfect zingy pick-me-up, alongside an Iced Matcha Latte, smooth, uplifting, and beautifully balanced.

And because no brunch is complete without a sweet finish, we ended with the Coconut Parfait, creamy, light, and pure bliss in a cup!

Flaky pastries and homemade desserts were also on offer, perfect for takeaway or pairing with your coffee in-house. 

And the fun doesn’t stop at food! One of the things that makes BlackBörk truly unique is their playful, creative twist on café culture: caps!

Design your own cap: patch it, switch it, own it!

One of the most fun parts of visiting BlackBörk is the chance to get creative with their products. You can pick up a cap, a patch, or even a T-shirt, and make it your own! 

Switchable patch hats let you mix and match designs, or you can design your very own patch to express your personal style. 

It’s playful, interactive, and adds a whole new layer of fun to your café experience, all while sipping your coffee or enjoying brunch!
