Experiencing a taste of Argentina in London
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere transported us straight to Argentina. The staff’s accents, warm welcomes, and attentive service made us feel like we were embarking on a mini culinary journey.
At Gaucho, the beef is sourced exclusively from the Pampas region, famous for its fertile soil and free-range, organic cattle. This is what gives the meat that incredible, melt-in-your-mouth flavour.
We were introduced to the different Argentine beef cuts: Chorizo, Lomo, Cuadril, and Vacio, and the real magic comes from how it’s cooked: over an open flame, just like they do back home. Grilled meat isn’t just food here; it’s a way of life.

The Piccadilly branch is perfectly located near Hyde Park, making it an ideal spot for lunch before a stroll. The restaurant sits on the historic Swallow Street and occupies a building that once housed a Spanish Ambassador.
The interior is elegant yet simple, with calming brown and white tones. A quiet oasis in the heart of bustling Piccadilly.

Our lunch started with a delightful assortment of breads, including a cheesy variation, served with a fresh olive oil and herb marinade. Absolutely irresistible!
For the main course, we savored our respective meats: Chorizo (Sirloin) and Quadril (Rump), paired with a flavourful ratatouille.
The presentation was simple, but the focus was on the quality and taste of the fresh ingredients. Every bite was full of flavour and texture. A true celebration of Argentine beef.
