If you haven’t been, Gutterball is West London’s playground for grown-ups (and kids too!). Located in Ealing, it’s a lively spot where games, drinks, and good vibes come together. 

I spent a full-on, laughter-filled family session there, and honestly, we all left buzzing!

Gutterball: West London’s go-to spot for bowling, games & good times!

So, what’s the deal with Gutterball?

It’s basically all your favourite games under one roof: there’s bowling with lanes that light up, pool, shuffleboard, darts, karaoke, arcade games, plus a Photo Booth to capture your funniest moments and a bar serving everything from mocktails to cocktails.

That’s Gutterball in a nutshell!

Gutterball in London is located in Ealing, right in Ealing Shopping Centre, easy to reach by tube or bus. They also have two other locations in Lincoln and North Shields, so the fun isn’t limited to just London.

The moment you walk in, you can’t help but forget the outside world! You can roll a strike, sink a tricky pool shot, show off your shuffleboard skills, or even have a go at karaoke, all while soaking up a fun, buzzing vibe!

Gutterball is perfect for a family day out, a night with friends, or even a cheeky little date! We came as a family and had a really fun time!

Our day at Gutterball

We kicked things off with a pool competition. It was tough, but so much fun!

There are plenty of tables at Gutterball, and since we came on a weekday (even during half term), we had lots of space to play without feeling rushed.

The playful rivalry had us laughing (and groaning) every step of the way. We’ll definitely be back for a little revenge!

Next up was shuffleboard, which turned out to be sneakily tricky, especially since it was all our first time playing!

Sliding the puck just right took some skill, and watching everyone try (and sometimes hilariously fail) made it even more fun. Definitely a game for patient players!

Then came bowling, the ultimate crowd-pleaser! Rolling strikes, cheering each other on (or groaning at the occasional lucky roll, it’s up to you!), and watching the pins crash down… Every frame was pure, unmissable fun!

Bonus: the lanes light up, and a little smoky effect goes off every time you score a strike, making every game feel like a mini celebration!

We also had a go at darts, perfect for a bit of friendly competition! It’s funny how such a simple game can have so many different rules and variations here at Gutterball. You could play for hours and never get bored!

And of course, the winner always gets a little celebration, just to playfully shame the rest of us!

When we needed a break, we hit the bar for some refreshing mocktails and drinks, the perfect way to recharge before diving into the next game!

The staff were super friendly and attentive, which just made the whole experience even better.

Before heading out, we stopped by the Photo Booth to capture a few memories from this joyful day. It’s super easy to use, and you get both printed and emailed photos. We loved it!

From family-friendly fun to playful competition, Gutterball Ealing really has it all! By the end of the day, we were knackered but still buzzing, full of laughter, happy memories, and just a touch of friendly bragging. Exactly how a great day out should feel!
