Manuka Kitchen: Fulham’s hidden gem for brunch lovers!

Manuka Kitchen Fulham Doyouspeaklondon Lifestyle London Blog

Fulham wasn’t really on my map until about a year ago. But that’s definitely changed. Every visit reveals another hidden gem, and I’m officially hooked!

This post is all about a delightful brunch I recently enjoyed with a friend. A hidden gem that deserves a spot on your must-try list.

Today, DOYOUSPEAKLONDON takes you to Manuka Kitchen in Fulham, a cosy spot where quality ingredients and relaxed vibes come together in the best way!

Where it all started and why it’s called Manuka

Manuka Kitchen is quietly tucked along Fulham Road, one of those neighbourhood gems that feels local, but always has something unexpected to offer.

It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Fulham Broadway station, which makes it an easy spot to reach.

The restaurant first opened its doors in 2012, founded by Joseph and a passionate foodie from New Zealand.

Their shared love of honest, quality food and a little ingredient called Manuka honey inspired not only the concept, but also the name of the restaurant.

Joseph brings a personal touch to every visit: warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about great food and the people who come to enjoy it. His attention to detail and friendly charm make the whole experience feel extra special!

Manuka Kitchen: a culinary philosophy rooted in quality!

As Joseph put it, ‘Manuka Kitchen is a way of life: healthy, fresh, and naturally good for you.’

They really focus on quality ingredients and thoughtful sourcing, which is something I personally value and always enjoy sharing here.

The restaurant’s commitment to freshness is evident in its ever-changing seasonal menus, ensuring that each visit offers something new and exciting. I visited during the spring menu and absolutely loved it!

An intimate dining experience

First impressions count, as they say, and Manuka Kitchen’s cosy interior definitely won me over right away!

It creates such a warm, inviting vibe that feels just like home.

I especially love their design, where the beauty is in the details, from fresh flowers on every table to the chic furniture, everything feels thoughtfully chosen.

The bistro’s warm lighting and attentive service make it an ideal spot for both casual brunches and special dinners.

Brunch delights and sweet treats

Now, the important part! Manuka Kitchen’s brunch menu is full of tasty savoury and sweet options.

Highlights include ‘garden scrambled eggs’ with courgette & feta (which we tried, see left pic!), ‘the crispy hash browns, spicy poached eggs’, and a ‘seasonal asparagus, rosemary & parmesan frittata’ that we loved (see right pic!).

Absolutely must-tries: bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection every time (I’m still dreaming about those delicious asparagus!)

The menu also features wellness drinks (see above) like the Immunity and Energy boosters we started with.

We also enjoyed a refreshing Ginger, Lemon & Manuka Honey infusion, aligning with the restaurant’s namesake and its emphasis on natural ingredients (The Manuka honey really tastes divine!).

They were all absolutely delicious!

For those with a sweet tooth, desserts like the fluffy blueberry pancakes we tried, topped with fresh berries and scrumptious syrup, provide the perfect ending to any meal!

Manuka Kitchen at home

Manuka Kitchen also offers home delivery, including their impressive Beef Wellington and those renowned incredible Manuka honey truffles, wow!

Plus, if you’re a fan of dinner classics, you can enjoy signature dishes like the tender rabbit or the rich Wagyu bolognese at the restaurant.

If I may suggest, pair your brunch or dinner at Manuka Kitchen with a wander through the beautiful grounds of nearby Fulham Palace. It’s the perfect match!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little tour of the lovely Manuka Kitchen in Fulham!

If you’re thinking of trying their brunch or dinner soon, I’d love to hear what you think, feel free to share your experience in the comments!
