Their story began in 2018 when they “started to test and make tealights at home” (they had been supplying candle-making materials for over 5 years, so they knew the trade). And it was all clear from the start for them that paraffin would be avoided in favour of soy wax.

The Natural Soy Candle Shop fine-tuned its concept to create natural and sustainable products.
They use “sustainable soy wax which isn’t farmed from creatures’ habitats but responsibly grown and farmed”.
I’m especially mindful of recycling and reusing, so I really appreciate that Julia & Ray use soy wax, it makes their elegant amber glass jars easy to clean and reuse. At home, it’s no surprise that I’m always finding little bits and treasures to put in them!

I carefully opened all packagings one by one and took the time to touch, smell, study them all before rushing to a lighter!
As far as I remember, I’ve always enjoyed lighting a candle to create a cosy and warm atmosphere while reading, relaxing, or even working.
This is how once the candles in hand I ended up putting them in the different rooms I was going to as if they were meant to follow me everywhere …
