Amazing lunch at the Radio Rooftop Restaurant!

As this post will prove, you can have an amazing time on a rooftop in winter! After two failed attempts (seriously, don’t even think about showing up without a reservation), we finally booked a table for two at the Radio Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, and it couldn’t have been better!

Today, DOYOUSPEAKLONDON takes you up to this stunning rooftop to show how you can enjoy incredible views, great food, and a cozy winter vibe, all in the heart of London!

Radio Rooftop Bar & Restaurant: a cosy spot near Trafalgar Square

The Radio Rooftop is perched on the 10th floor of the ME London hotel, just steps from Trafalgar Square. You take a dedicated express lift straight from the ground floor to the rooftop, sleek and efficient.

Walking into the hotel, we were instantly welcomed by a cosy lounge and friendly receptionists, setting the tone for a relaxed, stylish experience.

Once on the rooftop, the views blew us away. Despite a foggy day, London’s skyline revealed itself slowly and magically: the London Eye, Big Ben, Parliament, all emerging from the mist. Even on a gray winter day, it was breathtaking.

Warm rooftop vibes

We chose to sit inside the restaurant, but with the outdoor heating and piles of cozy blankets on the terrace, lunch outside would have been perfectly comfortable (if only I had braved the winter chill!).

The indoor space was lovely too, especially because we had the place almost to ourselves at first. The staff were incredibly attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless and special.

Moët Mondays

We were drawn by the restaurant’s clever promotion, “Moët Mondays”: two glasses of Moët Champagne served with pancetta-wrapped stuffed dates and raspberry bass carpaccio for two, all for just £20.

I have to admit, the dates paired with blue cheese stole the show. It was an innovative, playful, and genuinely delicious start to our rooftop adventure.

Winter lunch with stunning views

Although we hadn’t planned to stay for lunch, the restaurant had another tempting offer: 50% off food throughout January, and we couldn’t resist.

We went all in:

  • Devon Crab, Mussel & Clam Linguine with Chilli & Garlic: fresh, flavourful, perfectly cooked.
  • Spicy Lobster Burger with fries: a true highlight, with fresh ingredients and punchy flavours

Every bite reminded us why this place is so highly recommended. The combination of quality ingredients, skillful preparation, and relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect rooftop spot, even in the colder months.

Forget about Blue January: head to the Radio Rooftop for a warm, comfy atmosphere, incredible food, and views that never get old!
